I'm working on building our environment to use LVM so as to be able to expand/resize filesystems dynamically. I'm having an issue with what to use to resize the filesystem itself. So far I have been using lvextend to do the LV (which works fine) but using resize2fs to do the filesystem (formated as ext3) . resize2fs on my system will only work on unmounted filesystems -- I find references to ext2online and other utilities on the web -- is there anything equivalent for us -- Running SLES9 SP3 currently ? thanks
