Hello! Interesting you should say that John. Very interesting indeed. I have Slackware 11.0 running on a Dell Optiplex GX150. I, too, gave up on RHEL because of the sound issues. Which is what I figured would happen. However on the other ones who're here I haven't had any problems, those are all ATI based as it happens. **Grin.**
Incidentally getting properly configuration of video on them is pretty simple.
