Only if you wish to. All it does is pass the command to CP, so this works as well: 'CP DEF STOR CONFIG ... ' '15'x 'IPL 100' The entire trick is the '15'x between the commands. Otherwise the first causes a system reset and you never get to execute the next REXX statement.
