If you want ZFS on System z you will probably need to port FreeBSD or
OpenSolaris. There seem to be problems with the license that are keeping ZFS
from being ported to Linux.

ZFS will be in FreeBSD 7.0 due out in December. The video is a comical
intro to ZFS for FreeBSD. Takes less than 10mins to watch.

The techie info is here http://wiki.freebsd.org/ZFS

So if we want ZFS on System z does this mean we need to port FreeBSD (or
Opensolaris).
