Andreas,

A frame level trace will be very helpful :)  Though, you shouldn't need it
to figure out where the PRLO originated.  One of the trace facilities in
linux that Christof mentioned will tell you the s_id.  Once you have the
s_id, interrogate your switch console.

I just want to make sure that PRLO is from the target port that linux is
doing recovery for.
