We¹re planning to use cmsfs as part of an image cloning process, to collect and pass along some configuration information. But during our testing, cmsfscat seems to give inconsistent results. On one pass, it works just fine, then possibly the next, it says file not found. We¹re using chccwdev to bring the device online before the command, and then offline after the command. This may be what is leading to the random misfire.
Also, changes to the read-only minidisk don¹t seem to be reflected to Linux unless the device is completely detached and re-linked. Is this the way it is supposed to work? Is there a way to invalidate the cache, whomever is keeping it, so that the changes to the minidisk would be seen? -- .~. Robert P.
