Disagree all you like. I'm sometimes wrong too... just ask my wife. 8-) I think it depends a lot on your SAP application mix. The ones my customer uses still behave as I described, but I don't know if I'd describe their designers as particularly clueful. It sounds like yours are better behaved -- I wish more were. Still, as you say, it has gotten a little bit better over time as VM learns more about handling Linux guests. It's still ugly and no matter what we do, this beast takes up disproportionate amounts of resources, but any improvement has to be a good thing, right?
