We are considering running the Oracle databases for a Peoplesoft implementation on SUSE guests running under zVM. If anyone is doing it today we'd like to know as validation of this option. Also, we've been told that even if we get that to work the other pieces of the Peoplesoft implementation will need to go on non-zSeries distributed systems servers and are wondering if anyone has implemented the actual application code and interfaces on zSeries Linux guests.
Some people in our organization are concerned that none of this can be done and if someone is doing it already it helps us validate it is an option which should be considered.
