Hello Gene, There are many Oracle installations on SLES10. Are you installing a stand alone Oracle database? Are you using ASM? At what stage you are having problems? You may want to follow the IBM redbook "Experiences with Oracle 10gR2 Solutions on Linux for IBM System z" for the installation. http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg247191.html?Open
If you like I can also send you off line a pre-req checklist for Oracle
10g installation.
Regards,
SAM

Has anyone had any luck installing Oracle 10G on a SuSE 10 instance?
I've been trying for several days without any luck. I know it's been
certified by Oracle, but I can't get it to work using their
documentation.
