thanks for earlier feedback here

I have another question

We backup some of our VM volumes from a z/OS system

The backup command is like this

 DUMP TRACKS((0,0,nnnnnnnn))'
  INDYNAM('volser')'
  OUTDDNAME(ddname)
  ADMINISTRATOR CPVOLUME
 COMPRESS CONCURRENT
  OPTIMIZE(4)

Some of our backups are failing with ADR307E and return code 16 -

The VM-formatted volume does not have an OS-compatible VTOC beginning
on track zero, record five.

If we remove the CPVOLUME keyword, other backups fail with ADR307E and
return code 06

The VTOC's VTOC entry is not the first record in the VTOC.

It appears that some of the dasd were formatted with an OS-compatible vtoc
and some were not

We want these dasd with an OS-compatible vtoc

Is there any way to correct this so that we don't have to wipe the dasd
clean and reinstall the whole system?
