Alan, Try searching here http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ instead. Seems to work better for me (and faster).
I generally use google, with the site: keyword to limit the scope of searches. I've given up on date ranges, as it seems most sites lie. Note to webmasters (and translate to other domains as required). I often want to search Australian sites, and "site:au" limits the search wonderfully, but if you (like IBM, HP, SUN and other multinationals) run Australian sites in non-Australian domains, not all of your customers are finding you. Read Google's help pages for more hints. -- Cheers John -- spambait [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Advice http://webfoot.com/advice/email.top.php http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 You cannot reply off-list:-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
