According to our kernel developers, releasing AdvFS  to the open source 
community was for the purpose of using it as a research tool to improve 
existing Linux file systems.  Actually porting it to Linux would be a 
significant amount of work, ala XFS.

Now, if you were to sic Neale on it, and throw some food and beer/wine into the 
cave once in a while, we all know miracles are entirely feasible.
