Is it "sue dough" (like pseudo) or "sue do"? I always did the latter, but people around here seem to like the first. And I get confused (as usual) as to whether they mean "sudo" or "pseudo".
I've always used the former, and in this country it does not sound a lot like pseudo. I think if you listen closely, you might hear me pronouces the "e"and the "u" in pseudo. However, I learned from reading, not from listening (and if I were listening to an American I'd take no notice of how she pronounced it. I find Americans don't generally pronounce words the way we do, and most likely not the same way as other Americans either!). -- Cheers John -- spambait [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Advice http://webfoot.com/advice/email.top.php http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 You cannot reply off-list:-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
