Hi Stahr, In SuSE 10 SP1 there's a file named /etc/HOSTNAME (all caps), you should change that file. About ssh-keygen, I think the path is wrong. Maybe it's /usr/bin/ssh-keygen or something. Issue a 'which ssh-keygen' to find it out. And the firewall is called SuSE-firewall... You should deactivate it using chkconfig, or YaST, whatever makes you more confortable.
