Our experience has been nothing but positive with regard to Oracle on
zLinux (pardon the term), in terms of price/performance.

Subject: Oracle, zlinux, and virtualization

I just checked with some people at Oracle, and that statement applies to
x86 and x86-64 hardware platforms *only*. This has nothing to do with
zlinux.
Oracle fully supports and continues to support zlinux.
