If you have the postfix package installed (and you almost certainly do), there shouldn't be anything you need to do except start sending emails. chkconfig --list postfix postfix 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:on 4:off 5:on 6:off rcpostfix status Checking for service Postfix: running netstat -ln | grep :25 tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:25 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN You may have to edit /etc/postfix/main.cf to specify the "relayhost =" parameter, if there's a specific relay host that your organization wants internal email senders to use.
