Hi Marcy,

If you are using the lin_tape driver and udev you can use static naming
by using /dev/lin_tape/by-id/<wwpn>-IBMtape. I am not quite sure about
the old IBMtape driver, but if you are using that one it is about time
to move to lin_tape anyway.
