I think DIRMAINT satellite support might require RSCS, which needs a license 
($$$)...?  Could be wrong, but I believe that was my impression when I looked 
at it.

If you have DIRMAINT on all the systems, look at using the DIRMAINT satellite 
support. It was originally designed for CSE, but I think it would work without 
CSE.

I've also been tinkering with some ideas that integrate z/VM with other 
authentication solutions via PAM on a Linux guest. If you're interested in 
that, contact me off-list.
