This is an IMPORTANT NOTE, please read it completely!
Those of you commuting to the June 18th meeting from the South on I-94 (This will include those speaking that are flying in to O'Hare) will be REQUIRED to take a detour. The I-94 Northbound exit ramp, and Southbound entrance ramp at Route 22, WILL BE CLOSED starting at 5am June 18th for 3 weeks. These are the official Detour instructions: Tri-State Tollway Traffic Northbound I-94 at Route 22 Exit Ramp Closure - Proceed north on I-294 / I-94 to Lake Cook Road. Go west on Lake Cook Road to Milwaukee Avenue (Route 21). Continue north on Milwaukee Avenue (Route 21) to Half Day Road (Route 22). Proceed east on Half Day Road (Route 22). Southbound I-94 at Route 22 Entrance Ramp Closure - Proceed west on Half Day Road (Route 22) to Milwaukee Avenue (Route 21). Continue south on Milwaukee Avenue (Route 21) to Lake-Cook Road. Travel east on Lake-Cook Road to the Tri-State Tollway (I-94 / I-294). An aerial view graphic of the detour is attached to this note. While we were aware of construction on the bridge, the ramp closure was a last minute surprise from the Illinois Department of Transportation. This information was just made available today (Friday).
