My round-trip was around 160 ms. When I clicked on a radio button in the DB2 installation GUI, it typically was 20 seconds before it showed the graphical effect of that. With VNC it was less than 2 seconds. Maybe I should have a look at the X11 protocol and see why it was so slow. But once I knew which part failed, I could use the command line interface and let it fail much quicker ;-) Rob ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
