It mostly works, but has some caveats.

How useful this is depends a lot on what level of hardware you're on.
Stunnel connections tend to be long-running, so you need the symmetric
encryption support in the hardware to see much improvement in the CPU
utilization. Since it appears you're using a CE2, you should be able to get
some improvement, but it may not be as much as you'd think.
