Grand Day Mark,

Just to make sure I'm on the right road. Zypper with SLE 11 SP-1
is a supported sysadmin command line interface, it's manual runs to 27
plus pages. I have not found any issues, but would like to be sure I'm
giving the right word out to customers.

Regards,

The package itself is supported. It's direct use by a sysadmin is not.
On SLES10, zypper was intended only to be used by other parts of the
update system. That's why there's little to no documentation on how to
use it. (We won't talk about just how much(?) documentation there is on
how to use rug.) Think in terms of IBM's undocumented opcodes, control
blocks, etc.
