Luckily, it is the test system, and the production system is fine..Here
is the problem:

We are on SLES9 2.6.5-7.283-s390.

Last week I added a 3390-3 to the test systems LVG and it seem to work
fine.

Saturday I did the same thing to the production system and it has gone
through several reboots no problem.

I thought I did the same thing on both systems, but obviously, I didn't,
the good thing is I did the prod system correctly.

I tried to reboot the test system today and it sits in init 1 , NONE of
the lvgs can be accessed.

When a reboot occurs, Linux doesn't see volume 207(this was the vol used
to increase the filsesystem)

Looked at user direct and the volume(207) is there.

When we looked at Linux, it showed offline but there. We can bring it
online but it fails through a reboot...duhhhh

Is there a way once online to restart the other services ?

I cannot get to yast in my current state.

Mkinitrd and zipl both show they have been rebuilt

What am I missing??

Thanks

Mace
