Greetings.

I guess you may use hdpart -t /dev/<disk>, as it may give you some (basic)
stats.
However, it cannot "stress test" a disk, as IOMETER usually does.

    I have the need to get some performance data on new dasd. My windows
counterpart uses a product called IOMETER. I checked the sourceforge
website and it looks like it is not supported on the z series platform.
Does anyone have any experience with this product or another product that
may be similar for linux on z?
