I'm just curious. Early in this thread it was recommended that you trap
the message from SIGNAL SHUTDOWN. Usually about 15 seconds after signaling
a Linux virtual machine to shut down, I get a message. For example:

  ==> q linux01
  LINUX01  - DSC
  ==> signal shutdown linux01
  ... then about 15 seconds later I see:
  HCPSIG2113I User LINUX01 has reported successful termination

So why can't you trap the message: "HCPSIG2113I User LINUX01 has reported
successful termination"?
