It does (I use it often), but you have to build it from the source RPM. 

R feels a lot like APL (without the bizarre character set). It's fantastic for 
interactive exploration of data, but it's data manipulation functions aren't as 
well organized as the ones in SAS. You can do pretty much anything with R, but 
there are things that seem harder than they should be.
