Hi,

I am unable to access the archives link at
http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?linux-390 .

Hence sending a mail to the list. In case I offend anyone , my apologies.

I have the task of moving a ZVM Lpar from One Mainframe to another. The ZVM has
Linux images.
The statements we are using to Dump the volumes form zOS is

DUMP -
TRACKS(0,0,10016,14) -
INDDNAME(DASD) -
OUTDDNAME(TAPE) -
    ADMINISTRATOR COMPRESS CPVOL

Is this approach correct?

Can someone please provide me with a detailed process on how to accomplish the
ask?
Also info on the TCPIP settings to change on the Linux images , once they are
restored is needed.

Regards,
Srinivas G
