Mike, # lvextend -l +586 /dev/system_vg/home-vg
worked. I could wear I tried that, and received an error. Bit when I just tried it again, it worked just fine. Very puzzling. Thanks, the /home lv has been extended, which is what I was after. I would guess that this will work: # lvextend -l +586 /dev/system_vg/home--vg "Mike MacIsaac" <[email protected]> (845) 433-7061 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For more information on Linux on System z, visit http://wiki.linuxvm.org/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For more information on Linux on System z, visit http://wiki.linuxvm.org/
