Wellllll, since you are ready. First, Oracle is VERY virtual friendly. And has been the most virtual friendly application there is.
BUT, if you use RAC, it seems that someone decided to compete in the "virtual hostile" arena by making it poll at a high enough rate to ensure you need to buy a LOT more real mainframe storage to support it.
