Doug, Just for grins, go to one of the Windows boxes and try defining a printer like this: When it asks for the network printer location, instead of browsing for it, try typing: http://<linux-fqdn>:631/printers/<printername> replacing <Linux-fqdn> with the full name of the Linux host, and <printername> with the printer queue name on the CUPS implementation. Should work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For more information on Linux on System z, visit http://wiki.linuxvm.org/
