And if you really wanted to keep a good backup, you used the mylar tape.

I still have my Teletype 33 with paper tape unit (I think it was a KSR model) 
along with supplies.
I'm good to go when the rapture occurs!

Reminds me of the old days when I used a teletype and telephone modem,
although back then I had a paper tape backup for my programs.
