Hello listers,

We started running SAP on AIX many years ago. Back when NFS V3 was the way to
go.

Some years back, we transplanted our AIX setup to Linux, and left it running
NFS V3.

At the time, we did not take the time to migrate our setup to NFS V4. (Things
were

running good enough.)

Now things are no longer running "good enough." The SLES10 SP4 migration broke

something. (Multiple clients running on multiple Linux guests can write to the
same log file

at the same time.) The recommended bypass is to use the noac NFS mount option.
 But

that is causing performance problems, so the next thing that we might need to
do is to

migrate to NFS version 4.

Anyone know of a good tutorial or example of getting an SAP application server
to

work with an NFS Version 4 server?

I have spent some quality time with google, but have not found something I
could use as

a blueprint.
