We just use zypper update. We have too many to do anything but command line that we can script.
In your zypper lr, you may want to delete the nu novell ones since it looks like the server is successfully using your SMT repos. Abresch Jr. - at Pepco Sent: Monday, September 10, 2012 7:58 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LINUX-390] Another SLES11 SMT mirroring repository question To install these updates from SLES11-SP2-Core, I found out that I can do the following: YaST online updates, repository tab, right click in list in the right panel and choose: All in this list > Install when a newer version is available. This will install all the remaining SP2 package updates. Is this the correct process? I am use to seeing all patches and updates available from Online Updates or does everyone simple use zypper up? This seems to more of a procedural issue on my end. Comments and user experiences are always welcome. Thanks.
