Hi all,
i solved my problem. We extracted the initrd, kernel, parmfile and suse.ins and
created a seperate CD with a customized parmfile. The parmfile now includes
cio_ignore and dasd parameter. SO the startup of the starter image is very fast.
In our own environment we are runing z/VM to restrict access to z/OS resources,
but this a very special problem and needs a very special solution.
Many thanks for your replies.
Kind regards,
Tobias.
