David, Thanks for telling me that. I am abandoning my attempts to do anything with z/Linux at this point. I know that it is theoretically possibly for me to cross compile a z/Linux kernel on my Linux/Intel desktop. But I don't consider it to be that interesting to me. Especially given that the company I work for is really not very interested. If I tried to convince them to upgrade to current z hardware, they'd look at me like I was saying to replace all the servers and desktops in the company with ARM based Android machines. They are dedicated Wintel people.
