A new version of smaclient is available for download. Version 1.1 adds some
additional message handling, and some additional testing of the newer z/VM 6.2
interfaces. It also adds version display if invoked with no arguments.

For those of you who haven't played with smaclient yet, it provides a line-mode
interface to the z/VM System Management API (SMAPI) for most Unix-compatible
systems such as Linux. Smaclient can exercise all the VM management interfaces
to create, modify and destroy virtual machines without ever logging into z/VM.
It's a script, so it's not limited to Linux on z; any Unix-like system will do.
To use it, rename the script to smaclient and run it.

Note: You need to perform the setup steps for the VM SMAPI virtual machines in
the IBM documentation for this tool to work.

The latest code is available from http://download.sinenomine.net/smaclient.
Older versions have been moved to an OLDER dir in the same location.
A future version will be packaged as a RPM for friendly installation.

Have fun.
