This is very interesting and fits in with what I've been trying to determine
for several weeks.

We have programs that are using javax.net.ssl methods under Tomcat for
portability, and have been trying to find a way to make them use the crypto
hardware. But if I read this correctly, the only way to use the crypto
hardware is to specifically code for it in Java.

I'm not a java expert, but I'd appreciate any clarification.

Thanks.
