Hello lists, I updated Mz today to have some limited z/VM monitor data. Thanks to Alan Altmark and others for brainstorming.
No, it is not being designed to be a performance monitoring tool - just some basic, granular data. There's an updated screen shot on https://sourceforge.net/projects/managing-z/ for the "z/VM health" page (not very interesting as the example system has no load). Here is the update to the README.txt Version 2.15 - April 19, 2013 -) Added CPU cell to z/VM health page -) Added simple z/VM monitoring using IND LOAD and VIR2REAL data -) New script mzaddzvmmonitordata to populate montitor-data/ dir -) Added sparklines (small graphs) to z/VM health page -) Added drill down for full-sized graphs -) Update mz.pdf and README.txt (it's turning into bloatware - RPM is now over half a megabyte :)) "Mike MacIsaac" <mikemac at-sign us.ibm.com> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For more information on Linux on System z, visit http://wiki.linuxvm.org/
