For SuSE I use 150 cyl minidisk for /boot and then LVM together however minidisks I need for the total disk space required. That incudes everything except swap space which I put on VDISK.
Example. * Swap MDISK 0200 FB-512 V-DISK 1048576 MDISK 0201 FB-512 V-DISK 4194296 * /boot MDISK 0202 3390 776 150 VMUSR1 MR READ WRITE MULTI * / root fs MDISK 0203 3390 1 10016 LNX017 MW READ WRITE MULTI MDISK 0204 3390 1 10016 LNX018 MW READ WRITE MULTI MDISK 0205 3390 1 10016 LNX019 MW READ WRITE MULTI On Fri, Jun 21, 2013 at 11:35 AM, Pesce, Andy <[email protected]>wrote: > I know I have seen some articles about getting this error during install > dealing with LVM's. > So, if I define a /boot with 200mb on a real disk, then can I put the > other mountpoints > like /tmp, /home, etc into an LVM?
