SSD in the zEC12? Not sure what you're referring to. Maybe Flash-Express? If so, that isn't SSD; it's flash memory. I chose the phrase "large-capacity USB drive" because I want them also to allow disk drives to be plugged in. I don't need (or want, really) to use IBM space to hold my files. I mean, I won't object or anything, but I don't think being able to use the HMC HD is actually needed. Convenient, yes. Needed, no. (And I would exclude it from HMC backup.)
