I'm just finishing up an update to SWAPGEN that adds full internationalization for the messages and text that SWAPGEN emits. I'm looking for native speakers to translate the message repository files (and optionally the help file(s)). I've gotten particular requests in the past for French, Mandarin, Japanese and Korean.
Is anyone out there willing to help? You need: 1. Access to a VM system with support for the appropriate language(s). (if you're taking on one of the non-Roman character set languages, some way to enter DBCS characters is needed) 2. Some familiarity with CMS UPDATE (there's a good tutorial in the CMS Application Development manual by IBM) 3. Working knowledge of English and at least one of the non-English languages 4. Free time Basically, you need to take the message repository file, create an update file entry in a supplied AUX file and edit the text of the messages to be syntactically correct in the target language. What you get: eternal fame, a citation in the help file, and the warm fuzzy feeling of helping others.
