In my book, any Linux error that doesn't make sense is a SELinux error. I then 
run "aureport -a" to verify the assumption.

Part of the problem is that SELinux is not writing any messages anywhere we can 
see.  And, it's a "sandbox".

Anyway, the installer says that he updated a "wrong copy" of 
/etc/selinux/config, and after updating the "right copy" the guest now comes up 
with SELinux showing "disabled".  He has also sent more doc to the support 
person ("Wintel wizard") assisting with the installation.

No, it still isn't working.
