These kernel parameters look good. You can use all 8 hvc devices to log in to your Linux instance. The iucvtty program is an alternative to the kernel-provided terminal devices. You might try to issue "iucvconn vm_user_id hvc0" to connect to the iucvtty instance. > what am i missing?
