Before I'm asked, the only thing in /var/log/messages for it is

Subject: [LINUX-390] dasd_configure not adding device to /etc/udev/rules.d/ ?

Has anyone else seen the problem where the first invocation of dasd_confgure
0.0.nnnn 1 0 seems not to add a device to /etc/udev/rules.d ?
The rc is 0.
Running it a second time works.
It doesn't seem to happen every time, so hard to recreate.

This is SuSE 11 SP3 with s390-tools-1.15.0-0.136.13
