Hi ,

I dont think there is any point in thin provisoning dasd...
If you think about it the first thing you do to a dasd is dasdfmt...
meaning dasd space will be all used up the minute you format the volume.

There could be a nice feature for edevices... but most storage array aleady
give you thin provisioning in the open world...
