Although zVPS is a fine product and I am sure well worth the price it provides much more than the basic information I am looking for.
All I need in my lab on the occasions when someone wants to run a zLINUX guest is provided by the APPLdata and PTK. Thanks Berry. A GOOGLE search pointed me to an OMEGAMON doc with instructions to enable data collection. modprobe appldata_os modprobe appldata_mem modprobe appldata_net_sum echo 1 > /proc/sys/appldata/os echo 1 > /proc/sys/appldata/mem echo 1 > /proc/sys/appldata/net_sum echo 10000 > /proc/sys/appldata/interval echo 1 > /proc/sys/appldata/timer Tom On Tue, Aug 26, 2014 at 5:48 AM, Bill Bitner <[email protected]> wrote: > The RMF agent that runs inside the Linux on System z guest was > re-written the other year and changed the interface.
