Interesting article in the WSJ from about a month ago:

Avis Budget Shifts to Linux to Cut Software Costs in Half
(http://blogs.wsj.com/cio/2014/11/05/avis-budget-shifts-to-linux-to-cut-software-costs-in-half/)

An interesting part of the article is the last paragraph:

> Of the roughly 370 new mainframe footprints added over the past few
> years, about half of them were Linux-only machines, he said.

So the number of mainframe sites is increasing, then.

Have a good one, too.
