Hello, all. There is a new version of the zvmnames package available now. This version incorporates better error checking and reporting, plus ease of use and coding enhancements suggested by Kris Buelens; thanks Kris!
The package can be downloaded from a browse by going to: http://www.vsoft-software.com/zvmnames.vmarc This package is designed to let someone that is new to the z/VM environment see the relationships between z/VM components, VM user ids and the minidisks those user ids employ in the normal configuration and maintenance of z/VM. See the comments in the zvmnames exec file for usage information. Suggestions for improvements always welcome as are error and omission reports. Enjoy and have a good weekend, too.
