The "Name: UASSIGNED" means that no port name was assigned to the virtual
nic.  Since port names are pretty useless on a virtual nic, this is
normal.  It is recommended that you don't set the port name on a real OSA
port either.  The Linux installers, though, don't make it very easy to not
set a port name, so you frequently see it on the vswitch connections.
