Victor,

Did you try the workaround in the list server post (i.e. formatting the
minidisk from another system before install)?  I copied it below for
reference

If that doesn't work, I'd recommend opening a service request with SuSE.

Work around for this
   If the DASD has been installed through installer suggested LVM
   installation - Than format the DASD  before installation
   If the DASD has been installed through  user customized LVM installation
   - Than format the DASD through the installer
